LAAS/CNRS
September 14 - 18, 2009 Toulouse, FRANCE
The Nano and Micro Systems (NAMIS) network is pleased to announce the organisation of the 3rd NAMIS Iternational Autumn School. It will be hosted by LAAS-CNRS in Toulouse city (France) from Sunday 13 September 2009 evening to Saturday 19 September morning.
Attendance to this school can be conveniently combined with a participation to the 20th Micromechanics Europe workshop also organized in LAAS (Toulouse, 20-22 september 2009), to the Eurosensors XXIII conference to be held in Switzerland (Lausanne, 6-9 September 2009) or to the 35th International Conference on Micro & Nano Engineering (MNE) to be held in Belgium (Ghent, 28 september-1 October 2009).
As for the previous schools, 4 to 6 PhD students post-doc or young researchers of each NAMIS partner will be invited to participate and we expect to find financial support for the travel costs of most of them.
The school will have a poster session and practical courses as the previous ones. The lectures topics will include both fundamental and applied topics related to Micro and nano systems.
